The Founding Cell · An invitation to apply
You can build the product alone. You can't build the company alone.
I'm assembling a founding group from this channel to build the next chapter of StockAnalytics.AI together — with a real path to sharing in what we create — and to prove a new way of building companies in the AI age.
Any stake here is earned through real, verified work — not by signing up.
The betApply to join the founding CellThis is an experiment — a deliberate one. Not because I can't fund a team; I can. Because cash doesn't build a product — a team does. Paid contractors rent you their time; owners build you a company. I want to find out what the second kind can do.
The shift nobody has a playbook for yet
AI collapsed the cost of building.
One person who knows their field, plus AI, can now ship a working product. That problem is solved.
But a product is not a company.
A company is twenty other skills — distribution, sales, positioning, design, legal, ops — and most builders have none of them, and no cash to buy them in.
So working products stall.
Not because they're bad. Because one person can't be a whole company. And skilled people are watching their own work get automated — real value, nowhere to put it.
The oldest answer
“Trusted people contributing different skills toward something none of them could finish alone — and sharing in what they raise.
In rural Ireland a meitheal (MEH-hal) was the work-group: neighbours who pooled their labour to bring in a harvest no single family could bring in alone. Nobody was paid. Everybody got their harvest in. Strip out the money and that mechanism is what I want to rebuild — for building companies, with AI doing the coordination.
The experiment · StockAnalytics.AI as the first Cell
I'm not going to theorise about this. StockAnalytics.AI is already a working product — live, with users and early revenue. The first Cell — a small, high-trust working group — will take it from there to a real company. We find the missing skills, do the work, confirm it, and the people who build it are in line to share in what we create through a contribution-based structure we're finalising. If it works here, it becomes a template any builder on this channel can use for their own product.
What you actually get
- A real path to a contribution-based stake in what we build — to be set out in a formal legal structure, with vesting, that we're finalising. Earned, not gifted.
- Portable proof of work — a verified record of exactly what you built and who confirmed it. Worth more than any CV line.
- A serious room — a filtered group of builders, operators and domain experts who actually ship.
- Work that might go somewhere — not a course, not a community to lurk in. A real product with a real market.
What I'm not promising
- This isn't paid contract work — on purpose. Not for lack of money, but because a team of owners outbuilds a budget of hired hands.
- Not “free equity for joining.” Any future stake is earned through confirmed contribution — never handed out for signing up.
- Nothing to buy. No token, no deposit, no investment. If anyone tells you otherwise, it isn't this.
- No guarantees. It's an experiment and it might not work. I'm saying that out loud on purpose.
Who I'm looking for
You qualify if you bring one of these:
A working product you can't get to market on your own (you may bring your own Cell later).
A real, scarce skill — with evidence you've used it. GTM, B2B sales, product, design, compliance/legal, data/ML, ops, content, fundraising.
The ability to open doors — into firms, buyers, distribution, or capital.
Not spectators, idea-people without execution, or anyone whose plan is to speculate. Bring proof of work — and real enthusiasm. I need both.
How it works · a 6-week founding sprint
Apply & map
You apply. I map the skills we have and the ones we're missing.
First Assembly
A live call. I lay out the mission, the ownership model, and the workstreams. We choose what to build first.
Contribution sprints
Small, days-long pieces of real work — buyer interviews, positioning, pricing, design, a compliance memo, the build. Fast, visible progress.
Confirm
Every contribution submitted with evidence, confirmed by the group, and logged.
Founding report
Who built what, what we learned, how ownership converts, and what the next Cell needs.
After six weeks, we both know whether this is real. No long, vague commitment.
Apply
Throw your hat in. It only takes a minute.
Only your email is required — nobody's turned away for keeping it short. But the more you show me of what you'd bring, the stronger your application. I read every one personally.
